- Wolfpen Gap ATV Trail system is approximately 50 miles of trail loops located in the Ouachita National Forest.
- Trail difficulty ranges from easy to most difficult. Riders beware: Trails marked most difficult are just that (rocky, uneven terrain).
- There are no helmet laws in Arkansas, but we do strongly recommend you wear one. Riders can ride double, but are encouraged to not ride on the more difficult trails.
- Most ATV’s can run all day on one tank of gas, unless you ride to other area outside the Wolfpen trail system.
- There are many trails outside the trial system, but are unmarked. You will be on your own.
- No Wood Scavenging – Bringing of Deadwood from National Forest to Camp. You May Bring Your Own Wood or Purchase it from the Camp.
- The trails are in the middle of the forest, so wildlife can be seen everywhere. Bring your camera!
- Oversized and mud tires are not recommended because of the rocky terrain. Stock tires are best. Must have spark arrestor in exhaust.
- Arkansas weather is always changing and never predictable. Pack accordingly.
- The USFS is threatening to limit trail use or close them altogether because of irresponsible riders riding in the creeks. STAY OUT OF THE CREEKS WITH YOUR ATV, except in designated crossings.
